This blog is an online scrapbook of my travels. Although I expect it to be mostly filled with pictures, there will also be text and video posts, and perhaps some other forms of media. There will be posts here from Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, London, California, Michigan, and Maui, as well as some other places. I hope to be able to look back on this when I'm older and browse through these old memories I've laid out.

My first vending machine in Japan was on the train that went between Narita and Ikebukuro. I got a Boss coffee. Later when we got to our hotel in Ikebukuro, we saw a commercial for the stuff. Apparently, Tomme Lee Jones has been the spokesperson for this canned/bottled coffee since 2006. Although I couldn’t understand what was going on in the commercial, I thought it was amusing as hell.

La Vie en Rose music box
On our way back from Notre Dame my little sister bought a music box that plays La Vie en Rose from a store. She’s been playing it constantly, but it’s a lovely tune.
*No, this is not hers, but this one sounds quite pretty, and the song is identical.
